Journey Through Reggae Music – Four Sounds One Dance

Welcome to the new instalment of The Journey. This time The Journey is hitting the road to see our friends in Newport at the new exclusive and refurbished NEON Club. We feel this venue fits the criteria for this event.

This stop on the Journey is concentrating on one of the most important parts of Reggae Music, Sound Systems!!.
To celebrate this we believe we have put together the best of all the Sound Systems in Wales over the years.

Countryman (The outlaw) I for one am sooo looking forward to see the LONGEST running Sound System in Wales since 1985, with Mr Jammett, Tylo and Mousey. It has taken a bit of work to get them on the bill but it would not be a true representation of sound systems without the Legendary Coutryman sounds, get your ticket, find your spot and enjoy this sound Juggling!!

Ecko Vybz:
The number one Newport Sound System of over 10 years, Originally founded by the late great Steely Dan!! now carried on with the original line up, Bringing you the best of reggae music in their unique Ecko Vybz style.

Love and Harmony:
One of the favourites on The Journey, featuring Candyman, Reno and Neffi from Radio Cardiff 98.7fm brining the best in Rub ah Dub Reggae.

Crystal Clear
Some say the best Dancehall System in Wales for the last 10 years, fronted by the trio Don D, Big Crumbs (selector) and Preacher, get ready to hear Crystal Clear juggling in pure Dancehall styleee, from revival to the latest hits.

This night will be hosted by Scorpian & Sam Shawty, Radio Cardiff 98.7fm.

There will be Minibuses available to and from Cardiff/Barry with a glass of Bubbly all for £17.50 includes entry and Drink, Info @ Journey Hotline 07510 767 105.
